Miss DC US International - First Official Pics!!!

About Chelsea

Chelsea Boone was born in Washington, DC and has lived in the DC metropolitan area her entire life. She graduated magna cum laude from Hampton University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism. The following fall she began a master’s program at the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a degree in multi-platform journalism in December 2012.

She has participated in many community service projects throughout the years including community clean ups, feeding the homeless, serving as Miss National Association of Black Journalists on Hampton University’s campus, volunteering with the South Bowie Boys and Girls club, and was recently made an ambassador for the Tigerlily Foundation which supports young women ages 15 to 40 dealing with breast cancer.

Chelsea was crowned Miss DC US International on February 9, 2014 and will be representing the district at Miss US International in June.
